Introduction
If you’ve been following the alternative Yu‑Gi‑Oh! scene, you’ve likely heard the buzz about Yu‑Gi‑Oh! Chaos Reborn. Whether you’re a returning veteran from the Goat or Edison era, or a modern player looking for a high‑powered but nostalgic format, Chaos Reborn has captured attention for one big reason: its massive, curated card pool.
For Chaos Reborn, this typically includes:
- It includes every card from Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon (LOB) through Phantom Darkness (PTDN).
- It includes all GX-era booster packs, including Tactical Evolution, Gladiator’s Assault, and Phantom Darkness.
- It excludes all Synchro, Xyz, Pendulum, and Link monsters.
5. Spell Cards (405 Cards)
Every spell from the GX era is present.
2.2 Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End (CED)
- Card Type: Effect Monster / Level 8 / Dark / Dragon
- Stats: 3000 ATK / 2500 DEF
- Effect: Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster from your GY. You can pay 1000 LP; send all other cards on the field and in both players' hands to the GY, then inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each card sent.
- Analysis: Historically known as "Yata-Garasu Lockdown," CED’s effect to clear the entire field and hand was considered "broken" upon release. It received a functional errata (changing "send to Graveyard" to "send to Graveyard... then inflict damage") which slightly nerfed its interaction with cards like Sangan, but it remains a limited powerhouse capable of ending games instantly.
Immune to battle destruction, banishes a card upon summoning, and can attack again after destroying a monster. Sacred Beasts Support: Includes new versions of
- Jinzo (UR): Negates all Trap Cards.
- Injection Fairy Lily (SR): Pay 2000 LP to gain 3000 ATK during damage step.
- Exiled Force (R): Tribute this card to destroy 1 monster on the field.
- Magical Scientist (UR): Pay 1000 LP to Fusion Summon a Level 6 or lower Fusion monster (Broken in this game).
