- Character Selection: You are not limited to Brendan or May. The wiki lists 24 different player sprites to choose from, including characters from HeartGold/SoulSilver, Platinum, and X/Y.
- Starter Choice: You can pick any starter from any generation. To get a specific starter (e.g., Rowlet or Froakie), you must walk to the specific region’s section of the lab. The wiki has a map of Professor Birch’s lab showing where each generation’s pokeballs sit.
