4.1 Connecting to the Plotter
- In VCUT Work, go to Settings > Plotter Settings (or press
Ctrl + K). - Find Communication tab.
- Port: Select the COM port number you saw in Device Manager (e.g., COM3).
- Baud Rate: Match your plotter’s setting. Common values: 9600, 19200, or 38400. Most Chinese plotters use 9600.
- Data Bits: 8
- Stop Bits: 1
- Parity: None
- Flow Control: None (or Hardware if your plotter supports it).
Importing Designs: To start a project, use File -> Import to bring in your vector graphics.
For deep, solid text, use a larger "Clearance Tool" (like an end mill) to remove the bulk of the material and a "V-Bit" to finish the sharp details. Double-click the installation executable (e.g., VCutWorks_Setup.exe).

Settings→Language→English. - If still broken, reinstall using the English-only installer from your manufacturer.
