VCutWorks is a specialized control software designed for CNC oscillating knife cutting machines, primarily developed by Ruida Technology. It is used to manage cutting paths, optimize material usage (nesting), and control the pneumatic or vibrating knife hardware. Installation Guide for VCutWorks

4.1 Connecting to the Plotter

  1. In VCUT Work, go to Settings > Plotter Settings (or press Ctrl + K).
  2. Find Communication tab.
  3. Port: Select the COM port number you saw in Device Manager (e.g., COM3).
  4. Baud Rate: Match your plotter’s setting. Common values: 9600, 19200, or 38400. Most Chinese plotters use 9600.
  5. Data Bits: 8
  6. Stop Bits: 1
  7. Parity: None
  8. Flow Control: None (or Hardware if your plotter supports it).

Importing Designs: To start a project, use File -> Import to bring in your vector graphics.

For deep, solid text, use a larger "Clearance Tool" (like an end mill) to remove the bulk of the material and a "V-Bit" to finish the sharp details. Double-click the installation executable (e.g., VCutWorks_Setup.exe).
