Unlocking the bootloader on a Huawei P30 Pro is currently difficult because Huawei officially discontinued its bootloader unlock code service on July 24, 2018

  1. Connect the USB cable to your PC (but not to the phone yet).
  2. Use tweezers to short the test point to ground (usually a metal shield nearby).
  3. While maintaining the short, plug the USB cable into the phone.
  4. Keep the short for 5 seconds, then release.
  5. Your PC should detect a new device – in Device Manager, look for “Huawei USB COM 1.0” (this is factory fastboot).
  1. Download the Fastboot and ADB drivers from the official Huawei website or other reliable sources.
  2. Install the drivers on your computer.

EMUI Version: On EMUI 10 or later, Huawei has reportedly removed the oem unlock command entirely, making it nearly impossible for consumers to unlock the device even with a code. Step 1: Gather Required Device Information

Prerequisites & Risks (Read Carefully)

You Will Need:

  • A Windows PC (Windows 10 or 11 – no Mac/Linux for this process).
  • A USB-A to USB-C cable (original Huawei cable recommended).
  • HCU Client software (Paid – approx. €15-20 credits).
  • Drivers: Latest Huawei USB drivers + Hisuite installed.
  • A small screwdriver set (Phillips #00, plastic pry tool).
  • Tweezers or a thin metal wire (to short a test point).
  • Full backup of your data (this process factory resets the phone).

Are you comfortable opening the phone, or do you prefer a software-only fix? Do you already have an unlock code from a service provider?
