  • Stop work on immediate hazard; inform site manager and safety officer.
  • Emergency contacts listed (site first aider, emergency services).
  • Rescue plan for suspended personnel or fall from height; trained rescue team available.
  • Incident reporting and preservation of scene for investigation.
  1. Remove attachments – Operator cabin guarding, lights, wind indicators, lifting hook and auxiliary hook.
  2. Lower jib to ground (if derricking/luffing) – Not applicable for fixed jib; proceed with dismantling by auxiliary crane.
  3. Dismantle counter-jib:
