Smart PSS is Dahua's legacy (but still widely used) video management software. The "PC-NVR" feature allows a standard Windows computer to act as a recording server, storing footage directly on its hard drive—no dedicated hardware NVR needed.

• Go to Settings → Alarm Center → Syslog.
• Enter your syslog server’s IP (e.g., 192.168.1.200).
• Send all motion and AI events to a central Splunk or Graylog dashboard.
