Define connection point logic
Step 3: Draw the I/O Module Structure (Variable B – Inputs/Outputs)
- Insert a PLC digital input card representation.
- Manually label the connection point designations: I1, I2, I3... I8.
- For the Analog inputs, place a separate symbol showing the multiplexing:
AI1 (I7)andAI2 (I8). - Insert the Digital outputs (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4).
- Assign the DT (Device Tag) to a variable. Use
LOGO?as the placeholder. Do not use a fixed name like "LOGO_001". The question mark allows EPLAN to auto-rename when inserted.

10. Example macro ideas (recommended)
- LOGO! base module with terminal layout and power feed.
- Digital input channel block with sensor, fuse, terminal, and wire label.
- Digital output channel with relay/SSR, indicator LED, and load protection.
- Common power distribution block (fuse, terminal, distribution links).
- Mounting plate cutout and footprint for panel layout.

Issue 3: Macro Scaling is Wrong (Too Big or Tiny)
Solution: When inserting a macro, uncheck "Scale to grid" or adjust the Options > Macro box scaling. A standard LOGO! macro should fit a grid spacing of 4mm. Insert a PLC digital input card representation
