4.6 Rendering & Output
- Rhino Render: Basic. Good for clay models.
- Rhino 7 & 8's "Cycles" Render: Physically based lighting. Good enough for production.
- Export for CNC:
Make2D(Creates technical drawings). Export as.STL(Mesh for 3D printing). Export as.STEP(For Solidworks/Inventor). - The Metal Rule: Always use
Meshcommand before exporting to STL. Set density to "Fine" or "Custom." A bad mesh ruins a print.
