Sword Saint ) is widely considered one of the strongest solo and party archetypes in Pathfinder: Kingmaker
| Weapon | Best For | Why |
| :--- | :--- | :--- |
| Dueling Sword | Optimized Defense | 1d8 damage, 19-20/x2 crit. Works with Slashing Grace for Dex to damage. Best endgame weapon: Bloodhound (extra attacks). |
| Scimitar | Critical Spam | 1d6 damage, 18-20/x2 crit. Combine with Improved Critical (15-20 crit range). Best for proccing Outflank and Seize the Moment. |
| Estoc | Raw Damage | 2d4 damage, 18-20/x2 crit. Exotic proficiency required, but higher base damage than scimitar. |
Level 4:
- Strength (STR): 14 (or 16) – You need raw damage. Finesse exists, but early game without it is painful.
- Dexterity (DEX): 17 (starting) -> 22 (endgame) – Your attack rolls, Reflex saves, Initiative, and AC (through feats).
- Constitution (CON): 12-14 – You have a d8 hit die. 12 is risky for Unfair. 14 is safe.
- Intelligence (INT): 16-18 – Your AC (Canny Defense), spell DCs, bonus spells, and skill points. Crucial.
- Wisdom (WIS): 8-10 – Dump this. Your will save comes from class features.
- Charisma (CHA): 7 – Useless. No persuasion for you (let Linzi or Valerie talk).
- Swift Action: Arcane Accuracy (if enemy AC is high).
- Full Attack Action with Spell Combat: Cast Vampiric Touch (Standard) -> Make full attack (via Spell Combat). Your first attack (the free one from Spellstrike) delivers the touch spell.
- Result: You deal weapon damage + 5d6 vampiric + healing. Repeat.
- Estoc (2d4, 18-20/x2) — highest crit range, reach via feat.
- Scimitar (1d6, 18-20/x2) — good for DEX builds.
- Dueling Sword (1d8, 19-20/x2) — good with Aldori Dueling Mastery.
- Bastard Sword (1d10, 19-20/x2) — requires EWP, higher base damage.
Good luck, and may your blades always be arcane!
