Step 1: Pre‑Installation Prep

• Enable .NET Framework 3.5 (includes 2.0 and 3.0) via Windows Features.
• Install VC++ 2005, 2008, 2010 redistributables (both x86 and x64).
• Run the installer in Windows 7 compatibility mode as Administrator.
