Lightroom Portable 32 Bits

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom was historically available in a 32-bit version up until Lightroom 5.7.1

  • 32 Bits (x86): This refers to the architecture of the processor. A 32-bit operating system can only address up to 4GB of RAM (often less). If you have an old PC, you are likely running x86 Windows.
  • Portable: Unlike standard software that installs files across your system (Registry, Program Files, AppData), a portable app runs from a single folder. You can put it on a USB stick, an external hard drive, or a folder on your desktop. It leaves no trace on the host computer.
  • Lightroom Portable: A repackaged version of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom that has been modified to run without installation.

7.2 RawTherapee (portable)

  • 32-bit builds available.
  • Excellent demosaicing, no catalog (session-based).
  • Lightweight, runs on older hardware.

7.1 darktable (portable version)

  • Open source, free.
  • Official portable builds for 32-bit Windows (last 32-bit release: darktable 3.8.1).
  • Supports modern cameras via LibRaw.
  • Slower than Lightroom but safer.
