Hw-044 Datasheet

Informative Text: HW-044 LED Display Module (MAX7219)

1. Overview

The HW-044 is a compact, pre-assembled module designed to drive common-cathode LED displays. Its core component is the MAX7219 integrated circuit from Maxim Integrated (now Analog Devices). The module allows microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, ESP32, STM32) to control up to 64 individual LEDs (8 digits of 7-segments plus decimal points, or an 8x8 dot matrix) using only three I/O pins.

The HW-044 is a compact RS232-to-TTL serial port converter module built around the MAX3232 integrated circuit. This module is an essential tool for projects that require communication between a computer (RS232 levels) and a microcontroller (TTL levels), such as an Arduino or ESP32.
