🔒 Guide: “Flashing Lock Flag Is Locked – Please Unlock It First”

1. Identify the context

This message often appears when:

  • Confirm the unlock on your device screen.
  • After unlocking, the lock flag will show “unlocked” and you can flash normally.

    • Faulty door latch: If the plastic latch is broken or the internal wax motor has failed, the machine cannot register that the door is closed. This requires ordering a replacement door lock assembly.

    This process will wipe all your data, so back up your files first.
